Projects/Activities: Managing Milestones

1. To access the Milestones for a Project/Activity, select the desired Project/Activity from the list screen provided.

• Select the 'Milestones' tab on the project/activity detail page.

2. To create a new Milestone, select the 'Create Milestone' button option at the top of the page.

• Fill out all required fields.
• If the Milestone should be designated as a KPI, ensure that associated field is toggled to 'Yes'.
• Select 'Save' when done.

• Note that if the selected Completion Date for a Milestone is outside of the Start/End Date of the Project/Activity, a warning is provided but does not prevent the chosen dates from being saved.

• an additional flag will be displayed on the Milestone tab to indicate that the Project/Activity has one or more Milestones outside of the scope of the Project/Activity.

3. To edit an existing Project/Activity Milestone, select the 'Edit' option from the Actions column.

4. To delete an existing Project/Activity Milestone, select the 'Delete' option from the Actions column.

• Confirm that the Milestone should be deleted by selecting 'Yes' in the pop-up confirmation modal.

5. To include an existing Milestone in the Quad Chart, select 'Include in Quad Chart' option from the Actions column from the row of the milestone to be included. 

• The indicator confirms that selected milestone data is included in the Quad Chart.

6. WEEKLY REPORTING/STATUS FEED for Milestones:

Please note that while there is an option to 'Add to Status Feed' for Milestones, this is currently just a placeholder for future functionality. There will be no material impact in the application if this option is selected.

7. To remove a milestone from the Quad Chart, select the 'Remove from Quad Chart' option from the Actions column.

8. To remove ALL Milestones from the Quad Chart, select the 'Clear Items from Quad Chart' button option at the top of the page.

9. Mark a milestone as a KPI -

• To mark an existing milestone as a KPI, either slide the 'Is this a KPI?' field toggle to 'Yes' on the Edit modal,

or, 

• Select the 'Flag as KPI' option from the Actions column on the list grid.
