Data Assets: Creating and Editing

This process encompasses creating new Data Assets and editing existing Data Assets.

1. Creating a new Data Asset

To create a new Data Asset, access the Data Asset Inventory option from the Technologies menu on the left.

• Select the 'Create Data Asset' button option at the top of the screen.

• Fill out all required fields and select the 'Save' button option at the top of the screen when done.

Note: that the ADAMS ML Number URL field is not editable but will generate the properly formatted URL based on the ADAMS ML Number value entered.

2. Edit an existing Data Asset

• To edit an existing Data Asset, either select the Title of the desired Data Asset to be edited from the list page or select the Edit option from the Actions dropdown of the Data Asset to be edited.

• Select the 'Edit' button option from the menu at the top of the screen.

• Once all desired edits have been made, select the 'Save' button option at the top of the screen.
