Home Screen and Main Menu Navigation

After navigating to the site, users will be directed to a personalized home screen. The main menu bar (shown in detail and explained further below) is the primary navigation menu within the FEDPASS solution.

1. Formulation Input Button/Link
The Formulation Input button allows users to access Formulation Input screen. 

2. Placeholder Budget Items Button/Link
The Placeholder Budget Items button directs users to a list of Budget Items that have been temporarily saved in the middle of creation. 

3. FY Setting
This drop-down allows Users to view data associated with the selected Fiscal Year.

4. Settings
The Settings menu allows admin users to manage pick lists, organizations, users and other settings.

5. User Profile
The User Profile menu allows users to update their profiles and associated skills.

6. Help Menu
The Help menu provides users direct access to user guides as well as a direct link to submit support tickets.

The menu on the left of the page displays the permission-based list of modules available to the signed-in user.

Note that only options for which the signed-in user has permissions will display.

FEDPASS integrates a range of IT planning and operational management information within a single, customizable management platform. The FEDPASS solution consists of multiple modules, each of which possesses the ability to be used independently and optionally, or in conjunction with one or more other modules, thereby providing several integrated capabilities. By capturing data within these modules, rather than Excel or SharePoint, data redundancy and human error are greatly reduced, thus improving data accuracy, auditability and allowing for more useful reporting.  Current FEDPASS modules include-

• Home Menu
  Selecting the Home menu returns users to the home screen, displayed above. 
• Planning Menu
  The Planning menu allows users to outline Priorities, Goals and Strategies for their organization and tie these items back into the portfolio. 
• DSC Menu
  The DSC menu allows users to manage DSC Requests and provides a Status View of the requests. 
• Workload Management Menu
  The Portfolio menu allows users to manage Projects/Activities, view the Project/Activity Milestone schedule, and review items sent to the Status Feed.
• Portfolio Menu
  The Portfolio menu allows users to manage Investments, Components and Budget Items.
• CPIC Menu
  The CPIC Menu allows users to access numerous screens pertaining to Major and Standard Investments, including Draft Agency IT Portfolio, CIO Evaluations, Rebaselines, OA and PIRs.
• Budgets Menu
  The Budgets menu allows users to view budget trends and prioritize the budget post formulation.
• Solutions Menu
  The Solutions menu allows users to manage Solution Categories, Solution Names and Solution Offerings. 
• Resources Menu
  The Resources menu allows users to manage CPM Adjustments and view recently processed Actuals imports. 
• Technologies Menu
  The Technologies menu allows users to manage FISMA Boundaries, Systems/Tools Inventory, and Data Assets. 
• Reporting Menu
  The Reporting menu allows users to download and view reports and provides links to the FEDPASS PowerBI dashboards.
